How do I know which program is a good fit for me?

Each Community Services location has a different focus and community of active participants. Depending on where you live and what things you are interested in, you may choose from any of the five programs:

  • Augusta Community Services focuses on community involvement and exploration

  • Five County Community Services focuses on creative arts and volunteering

  • Cumberland Community Services focuses on independence and wellness

  • Saco Community Services focuses on culinary arts, gardening, and volunteering

  • York Community Services focuses on issues related to aging and memory loss

Each of our programs offer Community Connections. A program specifically designed to keep participants active, involved, and out participating in their communities.

Who do I contact to schedule a tour?

Contact the Community Support Planning Administrator at the program you wish tour.

What are your hours of operation?

All locations are open Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. However, program hours may vary slightly depending on the services offered at each location.

Do you provide after-hours events?

Yes, our participant and staff-led Social Clubs and Activities Committees put on regularly scheduled after-hours events such as dances, arts and crafts nights, movie nights and more! To enjoy our Social Club, individuals are not required to be members of Creative Works.

Who is on my team?

Depending on your needs and goals, you will work collaboratively with a team consisting of some or all of these roles: Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Team Leader, Program Manager, Planning Administrator and the Director of Community Supports. Depending on your curriculum of interest, you may also work with a DSP who is a Studio Arts Specialist, Culinary Arts Specialist, or even an Outdoor Adventure Specialist (available in Augusta)!
