Health & Wellness

Our organization has a comprehensive health insurance package that offers two Gold Standard plans: A PPO plan or HMO plan with Employer Funded Reimbursement options. Creative Works offers a Dental plan, Vision plan, and options for Short Term and Long Term Disability. We also offer wellness seminars, gym membership reimbursement, and more!

Paid Time Off

At Creative Works, we understand that time is your most valuable resource. We proudly offer 14 days of Paid Time Off in addition to 11 Paid Holidays to full time staff, beginning on day one. That’s 25 days! Hours accrued roll over from year to year; there is no “use it or lose it” policy.

Retirement

It's never too late to start saving for your future, and Creative Works wants to chip in!  After completing one year of employment at Creative Works, we offer a 3% company match for those who contribute 4% or more to their 403(b) plan. The 403(b) also allows employees to choose between saving post tax or pretax with a Roth option.

Going to college or interested in higher education? Tuition reimbursement is offered to employees after one year of employment.

Employee Assistance Program

Your emotional wellbeing matters to us. At Creative Works, a confidential, cost-free, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is provided to all employees and their families. This program offers information, advice, and support for a wide range of everyday issues including parenting and childcare, education, health, financial, legal, and stress management.

Maine Woodworks Discount

Creative Works happily offers Maine Woodworks furniture at a discount to our employees. Our social enterprise produces handcrafted, cottage-style furniture that employees may purchase and finance through up to five payroll deductions.  As always, all revenue from Maine Woodworks goes directly toward our social mission.

Flexible Schedule

Leading a busy life with school, children or other employment? A flexible work schedule is one of the many benefits our employees enjoy. We offer anything from 8-4:30, Monday-Friday all the way to three hours every other Thursday. We’re flexible.
